Question about EliteGroup ECS P4M800-M Socket 478/P4M800/FSB800/A&V&L/M-ATX Motherboard (MOTEC18)
No beep sound, with or w/o ram but have powerthanks Arnel
One of these should work:
1. Reset the BIOS (remove mobo battery or short-out the two reset pins near the battery or CMOS chip)
2. Disconnect every drive from power and data; remove all add-on cards. Leave only video card and one memory module in place. Turn on.
I hope #1 worked for you.
In #2, a device may be internally shorted to ground, that's why you must disconnect the power AND data cables from them.
