Question about Refrigerators
Look for the evap fan not spinning or spinning slowly. Also check the freezer-to-fridge damper for proper operation.
Also - check for a leak in the coil at the frozen/thawed transition point.

Start with the easy stuff. Make sure the light turns off when you close the door, make sure the doors are closed properly and there's a good seal. Check to make sure the evap fan is working as this circulates the cold air around. Make sure the compress is running.
The most common issue is usually a frost free failure. Remove the access panel in the freezer to expose the evap coils. If they're frozen, then it will block the circulation.
Other things to check would be the defrost timer and defrost thermostat (varies in location)
