Question about GE WBSR3140DW Top Load Washer
My whole laundry room was flooded last night, the washer has worked fine and then I go out last night and the water is still filling and it flooded everywhere! I do not have the money to call a repair man or buy a new one and my loser soon to be ex husband is worthless and I can not depend on him.
Does anyone have an easy fix? I am pretty capable and can fix things, I just don't know where to start!
There is an air line inside the machine... one side is attached to the outer tub... the other side is attached to the water level switch in the control panel... remove the face of the control panel, and see that the clear air hose is attached to that switch... if it's attached there then you'll need to remove the front panel and lid sections of the machine and check to see that it's attached to the tub... i've also seen on a few occasions the air line get clogged so if it is attached then disconnect one side and make sure you can blow through it... if it's attached at both ends and you get good airflow then the switch is bad... lemme know if you have more questions
