I live in the USA. My caller ID stopped displaying incoming calls. Last incoming call on the display says 12.2.14. Even when phone is ringing, caller ID does not display name, number, time, date, etc.

Call Phone Co and see if you are programed for the Caller ID feature. In some areas this feature cost more. Whether or not you are paying for it, it may not be programmed in their switch for you?

How do I identify an incoming phone number?

You need to have Caller ID from your phone Co. 1st. Then when you get a call the number shows up as the phone rings. The handset also has a button called,CID,which you can press and see the last 100 calls you've recieved:)

Answering Machine Problem

You have not configured the phone. If you do not set the number of rings before switching to the answering machine, the phone rings ten times then goes to the answering machine.

I have a Uniden D3097. It is ringing only once on incoming calls. I have called from a different phone and it rings several times for the caller then goes to a generic VM not the VM I set up.

By any chance do you have call forwarding turned on? That would account for the single ring and the unfamiliar voicemail. Call forwarding is a service provided by your phone company or cable voice company which allows you to transfer incoming calls to another phone number, such as a cell phone. It's usually activated by pressing a key sequence (such as *72) and entering the number of the phone that you want to receive your calls. It's easy to turn it on and then forget to turn it off. You can turn it off with another key sequence, such as *73. Contact your phone company for the correct code.

BROTHER FAX 1840-C.

Set your machine to MANUAL, this will allow you to answer every call yourself, then if it is a fax, the machine will take over. Sounds like you have it in fax/tel mode now, which allows for the fax machine to answer every call then if not a fax, double rings to you.

Wont accept incoming calls

this happened to mine , I never had aproblem before than one day ??? didnt work . I changed phone jacks ?? dont know why ??
1. Try disconnecting all phones in the household except the phone being affected.
2. Do a test call to see if the unit rings.
3. If the phone rings at this time, begin reconnecting all the other units one at a time. If the affected phone does not ring again, this is an indication that there are too many phones in the loop.
4. If possible try testing the phone on a totally different phone jack (friends or neighbors) to check if the same thing happens.
Also make sure the phone is not connected through an external answering machine, caller ID box, fax machine, computer, splitter, or defective DSL filter. If so then connect the telephone cord directly to the telephone jack and make a test call.

Check your settings in your answering machine menu. 1) is it on? 2) number of rings? 3) is it set to take messages or answer only? If the machine is ringing and never answers look for a problem under items 1 and 2. If it answers, plays your greeting then hangs up on the caller, look at number 3. If all those settings are correct, power it down, repower it back up, wait a few minutes to call it.

Motorola H350 - Incoming calls

there is nothing you can do about the delay as it's the time it takes for the bluetooth to send the signal to your earpiece to tell it the call is answered, the only way to stop any delay is to set your phone to auto answer in the bluetooth headphone settings or in the call settings.
