Re: assenbling

You never said if this is a refractor or a reflector (with mirrors). If it is a refractor you need to collimate the from lens cell-- this is fairly difficult without an optical bench.

If you have a reflector with mirrors then watch this video to learn how to collimate a reflector style scope.

All astronomical telescopes show upside down and or inverted images-- it's normal nothing is wrong. You are applying too much magnification. Do not use the 2x barlow-- and start practicing how to focus using only the eyepiece with the largest number written on it which is your LOWEST power.

You can practice focusing during the daytime on a distant object like a telephone pole or a building.

We have a vivitar reflector tel 76700 not sure in assenbly of eye piece

Just put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. Take the scope outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

Dear sir / mam tasco telescope works in day or

My advice is NOT to buy a Tasco telescope. These are called "department store" telescopes and their quality is not very good.

Instead buy from a regular on-line telescope shop. Here are two:

Need a manual/instruction booklet

You will not find a manual for that small telescope. However Meade maintains a web site with all their manuals.

Look under REFLECTOR for one similar to your telescope. They all work and assemble in the same way.

Requrest for Help

will sir it seems to me that a lot of science seekers of the stars is expecting to much....when they first grab a scope that they know little about. for example: there are neutroniums, reflectors, casaghrain a whole assortment and they are used for different purposes ,,,refractors are mainly used for solar system planetary bodies..on the other hang the casghain aren ment for deep space exploation to look at what we astronomres refer to as faint fuzzies, these faint fuzzies are ususally gallaxies or steller nursures or for spotting astroids, With bushnell binoculors... i can see the close up stars and planets without any fuzziness and have seen the andromeda gallexy a few time and i feel that i enjoy this a lot better.....but dont get me wrong, a good refracture looking a Saturn is an awe inspiring thing to behold. just take your time learning the constellations in your hemishere first, then you can graduate to more complicated equipment. get a vary powerfull pair of binoculars and lay down on some hill and just start loking'll see what i mean..lot easier to use you can take them anyware they're so convenient,,the bigger you go in size you probably have to buy a stand for it, becuase your hands will cause it to shift around too much.hope the has helped if it has naybe i can get a helpfulll reponse from you ...thanks!
