If you can remove the rectifier, take it to an electronic shop where they can test it for you. They'll likely do it for free. Also, make sure ALL electrical connection to the pump and other related electrical devices are clean and un-broken.

Remove hose from 66T6

I know how frustrating this can be. Try turning the hose and wands in opposite directions where they connect. Once the hose and wand is separated you'll be able to connect the pet hair attachment.

Here's a quick link to obtaining a copy of the user guide if you've misplaced yours:

Small potato (yes) stuck in hose, dont know how to reverse. tyvm

Possibly, find the location in the vacuum hose, where the potato is stuck, squeeze the hose there to force the potato to break up into smaller pieces that can be sucked through. If it is stuck in the "wand" the solid part, a straightened out wire coat hanger, may suit, instead, but be extremely careful with that, as the wire may pierce the hose. Alternatively, you can reverse, by plugging the hose into the "exhaust" .

My hose is sucking in on itself

Hi there,
the most common problem that causes this to happen is that you have a blockage in the hose. Unclip the hose from the machine and remove the handle. You will likely be able to see the blockage. You should be able to drop a coin in one end of the hose and have it fall straight through. Be carfull getting the blockage out that you dont pierce the side of the hose (which can happen if you are overly zealous with an poking type tool). If all goes bad and you need to get a new hose you can find one on VacuumSpot or Nelsonvacuums.
Hope this helps you :)

Filter Queen Powerhead Not Working

is it the part where the hose connects to the wand or is where the wand connects to the power head? and what side keeps falling out. it sounds to me that its either a hose or a wand issue. unfortunatly the cord itself cannot be replaced and if the problem is a worn out connector in the hose which is possible it would require a replacement hose and if it is on the wand end it would require a new wand. either are fairly cheep on ebay. or you can possibly find one used at a local vacuum dealer. dont buy new. save yourself some money if possible.

Hose connection broken.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
If you have a broken hose connection, and not knowing the brand name of the vacuum, I can suggest 2 things. If you have an electric hose, meaning that it is attached to a electric power head or power nozzle, some can be repaired depending on what was wrong, but most of the time you have to replace the hose, some pigtails can be replaced but if the electric connection is broken, you need to replace the hose. If it is a non-electric hose, you can use a shrink tube, or cut out the broken part and use a hose cuff to join them together, so just shorten the hose and screw back on the original ends. In either case you need to check with a local vac dealer. Or you can make a new hose with new ends and leave the canister @ the bottom of the stairs and go up with just the long hose, unless you have an upright then you have to make it the length that is on the upright. Or replace it with the genuine hose from the factory or use the ends from the old hose on the replacement hose. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
Thanks, Don – The Vac Man
