You have the bottle valve opened all the way, the gas is rushing through the regulator making the diaphragm vibrate which is the humming noise you are hearing. With the gas flowing like that, you are basically preventing the ability to control temperature so the grill gets way hot. The best thing to do is to open the valve one full turn only and then light the grill...if you can't get it hot enough after that, then open the valve another full turn...you should never have to open that valve all the way...if you start having to do that then the bottle is almost empty and needs to refilled.

We have a barbeques galore turbo stainless stell 3 burner grill, We can't get it to heat evenly and now it barely heats at all.

Hi,
Either the burners are dirty and the holes for the gas to come out are plugged or the gas pressure regulator is bad.
Check the burners and make sure they are clean and if they are then check the regulator.

My flame is very low when lite and grill will not get beyond 200 degrees. This happens intermittingly.

It is most likely the propane regulator. If it is under a year old the company should replace it for free. (The regulator is located on the gas line and is a round metal object near the propane tank.)

Barbeque is making a loud high-pitch noise. Can't

The diaphragm inside the regulator is vibrating; that is what is making the noise you are hearing. You could go out and buy a new regulator, but first I want you to try something. What I want you to do the next time you light the grill is to not open the tank valve all the way...only open it about 1 1/2 turns and light the grill. If the noise goes away (which, most likely, it will) then the easiest way to correct it is just to not open the valve all the way. Normally, all one needs to do is open the valve halfway and the grill will get plenty enough gas to give you a really hot cooking area.

Or, you can go get a new regulator.

My grill does not heat beyond 300 degrees.

Hello,

Check the excess flow safety device, which is part if the barbeque to cylinder connection, may have activated. To reset the excess flow safety device turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve off.
Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to high. Wait at least 1 minute . Turn burner control knobs OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. turn cylinder valve slowly. I HAD THIS PROBLEM JUST LAST NIGHT AND FIXED IT RIGHT THEN.

BBQ Galore Capt'n Cook 4 burner gas grill won't get hot.

Most modern gas regulators have a safety feature to prevent gas left on. If you shut off the tank first and then turn off the burners, it will trigger and keep the gas flow at a very reduce flow to prevent you from turning on the tank again with the burners left on and not realizing it. Turn everything off and then turn on tank first, followed by the burners and this will solve most problems of a low flame or a bbq that won't get hot.

Regarding gas Barbeque and charcoal Barbeque

It depends on your preferance

Charcoal most say it gives what your cooking better flavor but the disadvantage is waiting for the coals to get hot and longer cooking time due to less heat.

Gas quick cooking time, quick warmup time the disadvantages scrafice some of the flavor, unless you buy a gas grill set up to smoke it is almost impossible to use a conventional gas grill for smoking, and also you have to have enough gas to cook completly or have a second tank in case you run out.

Hope this helps Ya

The regulator freezes on my three burner Barbeques Galore Grill

This can happen when an excessive amount of propane gas is used or when if the tank you are using is not sitting upright, therefore allowing liquid propane to exit the tank through the regulator.

Low and Slow heating to temperature on grill

Hello,

Here are some tips:
Check: The excess flow safety device, which is part of the barbeque to cylinder connection, may have activated.

Fix: To reset the excess flow safety device turn all burners control knobs and the cylinder valve OFF. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HIGH. Wait at least 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Turn cylinder valve on slowly. Then use your like you normally do.
Now the line is purged.
