Hey, you can use AOMEI Partition Assistant to move the extra free space of your D drive to your C drive. This software is free, so you don't need to make the D drive the primary drive and the c drive the secondary drive. http://www.extend-partition.com/help/resize-partition.html

Does the D: drive have an Operating System on it?
Can you compress the info on your C: Drive? That would in effect give you more room. Odds are that your D: Drive only has the "Restore" files on it and is best not messed with.

Are the C: and D: drives two completely separate drives? If so you will have to reset the jumpers on the drives. Sometimes it's as easy as just swapping which drive is plugged into which drive. At any rate your boot drive will HAVE to have the Operating System on it be it C: or D: ... if your D drive has no OS on it it can not be used to start the computer. To put an OS on the drive you will have to first get the computer to recognize the drive as C: ... then install an Operating System on it. Easy to say, complicated to do.

Solution of low disk space

HARD DISK MAINTENANCE TO KEEP COMPUTER RUNNING EFFICIENTLY.

Hard disk maintenance should be carried once a month to make your computer run efficiently.
This removes redundant and temporary files, recovers disk space and speed up hard disk access.
Disk Cleanup should be done first - Click My Computer - then right click on the C drive then click Properties, then click Disk Cleanup - let it examine the C drive then it will calculate the amount of disk space it will recover, tick all the boxes to recover the maximum disk space and then Click OK and then Yes to perform these actions. If you have a D drive then repeat these steps on this drive too.
Next the C drive needs to be Defrag. This process converts fragmented files into continuous files and this speeds up disk access and makes the hard disk not work as hard. Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter - click to highlight the C drive and click Analyse - then click Defragment.
When this is completed repeat these steps for the D Drive if you have a D drive.
Disk Cleanup and Defrag can take a long time to complete, especially if these tasks have not been for a long time.

Low memory problems

Low memory problems could be low virtual (hard disk) memory.
Hard disk maintenance will free up hard disk memory space.

Hard disk c drive is full

You will have to re-do your software Operating Software Windows and install it to D: as the primary drive. Why not just do a good cleaning of the main drive send anything over to D: that can be saved there and free up the primary drive making more room even better. Use the D: as a saving and use to gather all your goodies and take them off of the drive get rid of any unwanted software. Do a good cleanup I'm sure you will find lots of room once you do that. Just a suggestion!
That is what I do I have one for the operating system only primary C: and the other for things I wish to save to it that is bigger than the primary since all I will be doing is using the space on C: to just run Windows. Then anything else I save I either burn to a disk, slap it on a USB Stick or send it to a free 5 gig service thus illuminating clogging of my drives.
Most people do this when saving stuff they want to keep they get it off the primary drive in case of a crash. Again just a suggestion. John

LOW DISK SPACE

Do a disk defragmentation, open control panel select system administration and select defragmentation of the drives. Once completed. clear all temporary files, cookies on the internet browser.
If there is still insufficient space copy off unwanted large media files to the disc or flash memory.
Always have at least 20-30% space left in the C drive so as not to cramp up space for the program.
Uninstall all unwanted proogram files and use only what is required.
You can release a lot of space this way.

My 5633 acer keeps coming up low disk space on c how can I solve this

uninstall & delete any unused programs. Empty the recycle bin,run disk clean-up from system tools. Defragment the drive. If that doesn't help,I'd start looking into a new hard drive.

Low disc space cant upload pictures or anything i delted lots of files but still low disc space .zero space please i need help asap.

Just moving things to the trash or deleted files does not clear them from the disk drive.
Try empty trash or remove deleted files.
