Ipod languages ipod bought in Thailand has reverted to what i believe is chinese...cant cahnge back to English.

you go to system settings -> language and input -> language (very first item in the list) and choose Eng

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps and convert the Chinese language to English

1.Select Menu
2.Select Settings
3.Select Phone Settings
4.Select Language Settings
5.Select Phone Language
6.Now Select the English Language from the List

Check and revert back

turn on your ipod, go to 设定, and then go to 语言, and then click 英语. and if that does not work... if you know how to get to setup go there and click all the languages.

hi this is singh i am having d same phone , u do 1 thing go to menu n click on d icon which is symboled by a srew driver and then press down button in ur key pad for four times and then press center button n then u will find the english selct dat option n press save button which appears in chinese language ok njoy

Ill walk you through it.
Get on the main menu screen.
Settings if the 5th one down on the main menu
Language is the 13th one down on that Settings page.
See if you can do it that way if not. at the bottom of the settings page regardless of language it should say "Reset all settings" and that should let you choose a language.

If none of these work and you dont mind restarting all over with your ipod you can Visit apples page about how to reset an ipod. ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339?viewlocale=en_US ) After reset it will allow you to select your desired language. which im assuming will be English.

If you can get to the settings menu it should give you the option of what language you want to use.

i got one off ebay just a few fays ago and the language was stuck in chinese, so after just testing the MP34 i found out how to change the langauge into English.

Click into the 'two rotating items',
Then, go down to the 4th settings, i.e 04/11. This is Languages.
After entering that, click into the 2nd option. i.e 02/25. This is English settings.
And hopefully it should be done.

go to language and click on english thats your answer or just take back to the shop and ask them!

yes sertanly go to setting if not conect to your computer and do it manualy look for drive g or just down load itunes

try to reset the i-pod.then if u have symbols then go to settings and change language... or buy a chinese to english book
