Epson Stylus CX6400 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo

I have an Epson CX6400 which gives the message "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation." Is there going to be a cheap way to see what is wrong and if I can fix it?

The message refers to the ink pads, which are actually a number of porous pads in the printer that collect, distribute, and very importantly contain the ink that is not used on printed pages. Ink is collected by these pads during the initial setup of the product, during cleaning cycles and when printing borderless photographs. Most users will not receive this message before the printer is replaced for other reasons. Some high volume users or those who use the printer for many years may receive this message about ink pads before other components reach the end of their usable life.

You can also reset the counters on the Epson to allow you to continue printing by downloading a service utility at the following link

Yes sir you can still fix your printer....its just a warning device that you need to replace your ink pad. now you dont have to change it if you dont experience any streeks on your print out....try to download the ink pad reset utility at this website www.epson.com/ipr

read it and make sure you have xp as your operating system

Epson cx6400 problem - ''parts are at end of useful life, see documentation'' How do I fix this?

Open the printer and replace the ink pad. Then download the epson service tool and clear the counter.
Don't clear the counter if you didn't replace the ink pad or the ink will overflow all over the printer mechanism and on your desktop.

Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation.

Reset the waste ink counter!
Assuming you have completed your modification you can reset your printers waste counter using this method (I did this and it worked on the CX6400) can't guarantee it works on all)
1. You will see big button on your printer like power on (this is on the left
2. side), black & white photocopy, color photocopy, and then the stop button (these are on the right side).
3. first turn off your printer
4. push the b/w + color + stop buttons together and hold
5. push the power on button and hold (so you'll now be holding down 4 buttons together)
6. Don't release all the buttons until you see the light indicator is blinking and then a message display on the lcd
7. release all the buttons
8. push the color button (once)
9. turn off the printer
10. turn it on again
After this one may need to reload the printer driver and locate the printer!

Epson stylus cv6400 error message "parts inside printer are at end of their service life.see your printer documentation."what does this mean? thanks in advance.....

The printer has an end of life service, meaning it has printed its last print on paper.. you have to get it reset from a technician or if you are savy enough you can download this resetter and do the reset yourself.

well generally the printer is always service-able, and parts that has reached the end of life are sometimes cheap, but OEM parts may be a little expensive.
