Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR2 V9m Cell Phone OEM Car Charger

1 Answer

When I transfer photos from my iMac and/or Windows XP PC to a San Disk HDSC card, the computers show the photos having been transferred. When I installed the first two memory cards into my Motorola V9m phone, the phone didn't recognize either memory card at all. I use a 2GB card that is the maximum recommended for the phone. I formatted the first two memory cards I bought...and the phone recognized neither card after I did that. This third card is brand new, I have not formatted it, and the phone does recognize the card. I can save photos taken by the phone camera onto the new memory card and transfer them to the phone to view. I just can't transfer photos from either computer to the memory card to view on phone. Have been to Verison Wireless several times for help, to no avail. Also to the Apple Store...unable to figure it out. Help!

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from or
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

2 gigabyte micro scan disk is full. transfer to a 4 gb seems impossible.

The micro san-disk should have come with an adapter shaped like an SD card that looks like this. If you have a computer you can copy and transfer the files over to the new card.

Can't get the software for my new Panasonic TZ5 Lumix to load into my iMac! iMac doesn't recognize it as a CD. Urgently need to download my photos to update my website! Help! Patti

there is two ways to load pictures from your cam to pc:
    step 1
youll need a card reader to put in the memory card to a usb port.
A.then the computer will recognize the device as a FLASH DISK/ REMOVABLE DISK.
B.some pc will automatically open once you inserted the card reader to the usb port "click open containing folder". if the pc does not open automatically open my computer and find the "falsh disk/removable disk" and click.
C.once inside find the DCIM folder this contains your pictures taken from your cam.
    D. now you can choose a picture you like to be transfered or copy to your PC
    E. save picture in a folder that you ca easily remember

    step 2
need a usb wire to connect cam to usb port
    A. attach wire from your cam to usb port/pc
    B. your cam will show options choose storage data. the other options requires a software
    C.same as step 1 from B-E

remove the SD card from the camplug it into your PC. If it has no card slot, get a USB card reader. Less than $20 usually. Make sure the card reader can handle the SDHC (hi-capacity) cards if you plan to use those. If XP recognizes the card it will appear like an additional hard disk. Open it in windows explorer, check the directories until you find your video or photos and copy those to the hard disk.

Could a photo printer corrupt my camera?

Do you have a memeory card reader? They work a lot faster than cable transfer. Get one if you don't, for about $10 or so, or borrow one to test your card. Then see if your memory card (the "disk") displays your pictures onto the computer through the card reader. If it does, your friend might have physically damaged the USB cable connector on the camera or the card socket inside the battery compartment (or, of course, you might have done so yourself somehow). As long as you have the card reader you'll still be able to transfer images. If the pictures don't show up on the card reader, it's more likely the card itself was damaged, though you say you tried another card. If you've already downloaded the pictures, try reformatting the card (which will erase everything) and then give it another shot.
