Take off back of unit, look for bad fuses,F850 if blown replace 1 time when it blows it again replace convergence ics(2) part number STK392-110.after replacing parts you have to readjust the convergence, start with the center x move red onto green then blue onto green, after that you will go into advanced convergence using numbers 1 thru 9 doing the edges,do all the red first then do the blue

Your tv might have a defective power supply, and/or convergence circuit. The initial cause of the problem, if it is the convergence circuit, is usualy a loose conection on one or two jumpers close to the convergence output circuits (STK392-1110), in with case this chips might need to be replaced and a pico fuse of 5A on the power supply too. I hope this help you.

My picture shut off. Power lite clicks, blinks,no picture

how many times is the power light blinking as thats a error code. 3 blinks is the most famous which means convergence circuit failure.

Power button Flashes

For the first one, please list the model number and count the blinks. Also, can you please post each problem separately. It will get too confusing trying to address 3 sets with different but similar problems.
Thanks,
Dan

Power light blinks red - tv will not come on

to let you all know that Im having the same problem with my tv.. amber then red red red red... and popping sounds from speakers... Its because they use cheap parts there are 19 capacitors in the power supply (DONT RECOMMEND FOR NON EXPERIENCED PEOPLE) the 2 main filter capacitors are 100uf450v the ones in mine are just fine then there are 3x 1000uf16v, 2x 470uf16v, 3x 470uf25v, 2x 1000uf25v, 6x 1000uf35v, and 1x 470uf35v... Im in the process of replacing those capacitors. about half of them are leaking and 1 is blown... very dangerous for anyone messing around back there.. just thought i would let everyone know that its a 20 dollar repair if you know what you are doing i got my caps at marvac.com

Lite in the front of the TV when you turn on keeps blinking and no picture.

Q510, Ta1316 is your sync processor and probably the problem you're having here. It's a common one for this unit and you could pull the board and check the solder connections it has with the foil - - but you may need to replace it...

HLS4266W 43" dlp. In less than 1 yr whining grew worse, but did know what it was. Year passed with warranty and lamp went out. Replaced lamp. Worked for 3.5 hrs. Turned on next day and did not work. Got another lamp, but did not work. Figured out might be color wheel. Replaced it too. TV started up. Watched that night. Turned on next day, heard loud pop. Lamp never came on. Withdrew and reinstalled lamp a couple times to see if that worked. Did not. Currently, with new lamp and color wheel installed, lamp light blinks, but no lamp comes on. What now?

Power light blinks

I found a solution, Heat. When the set is on and heats up it stays on, but once off for the night it gets cold and can't start, try using a hair dryer on full blast and put the heat around the back top vent like structure and wait for the light to stop blinking, this only takes about 2 min or so
