Question about Frigidaire FAX054P7A Wall/Window Air Conditioner

1 Answer

There is always a build up of water around the blower motor. When turned upside down the water will come out...but come back almost immediately!! The water noise is very loud and the air conditioner is not cooler the room as well as before.

My whirlpool electric dryer is shutting off when it gets hot after it cools off it will start agian, runs for about 10 mins,

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly
A dryer that gets hot after 10 minutes is being shut off by the high limit thermostat. This is always due to poor airflow. You should break out the crevice tool and de-lint everything you can access. Also pull out the lint filter and wash it with white vinegar and water then soap and water. Fabric softener sheets material builds up on lint filters. It looks clean but air will not pass through the lint filter.

Additionally inspect the vent ducting inside and outside the of dryer for lint build up. Make sure you go outside the home and check the vent flapper at the through the wall connction for lint build up also. This is often where lint build up problems start and then migrate inward blocking air flow.
A looped coat hanger (Folded in half after you straighten it out) works great for reaching into the rear of the dryer from the vent connection to assist in lint removal.

If all of the above is good you will have to check the blower wheel mounted on the motor drive shaft for signs of a broken hub or... fan blades. A broken fan will cause poor air flow.

The dryer should provide enough air flow to push a relaxed hand / wrist away from the connection point on the back of the dryer. If you do not have this kind of air flow at the back of the dryer connection you need to find out the cause. I.e. lint build up or a fan problem.

Problem with the 2003 GMC Envoy Blower motor resistor location

Need to take off the plastic kick guard off just below the glove box. Then you can look under the glovebox and you'll see the blower motor and the blower resistor module on the bottom of it. For even better access, open the glove box, and flip it upside down which will expose the connector for the resistor module that needs to be unhooked.

To move the glove box upside down, feel around in the openings just to the left of the glove box. You'll feel a hook like (spring loaded) metal piece that you can push back, that will allow the glove box to fall freely down.

The unit will turn on and run fine for a few minutes then shut off. It won't immediately turn back on, almost as if it hans to cool back down first. Any ideas i have a lennox furnace

The ignitor will light, the blower will start up and run for a few minutes and then the system will shut down, and the blower will continue to run and cool down. The ignitor is not working properly, the ignitor has carbon build-up and need to be removed, cleaned all the black carbon from the ignitor with a little piece of sand paper and replaced, turn the heat back on and this should correct the problem.

Where is and how to take out blower motor 98 audi a8 quattro

The blower motor is in the engine compartment, closest to the firewall. It's dead center under a vented cover. The reason for water in the vents may be due to a worn out seal around the blower housing.

Is it water or coolant, if its coolant need to replace heater core. If its water could be door weatherstrip problem or windshield leaking . also can have someone spray water on car and you sit inside and look for water leaks.
