Question about WatchGuard Technologies Firebox X5000 (WG45000) Firewall
is any one can guide me how to configure the site to site vpn on checkpoint UTM 1 with R62 and Cisco pix. i am not able estabilish the tunnel. is there any difference in configuring site to site vpn on CP UTM R62 and NG 55. some time i have done same configuration on NG and pix it works fine. but failed to estabilish tunnel between r62 and pix. please share the idea or URL.
In checkpoint you need to select the other interoperable devices and you have to create the object for the pix firewall and in the vpn communities you have to add the object of yours and the pix.If you want more clarrification you can call me at 09620077956.

I couple of points:
PIX has a few dislikes...
1. Pix does not like class A address, make sure you are using B or C.
2. The VPN subnet always has to be differant to the LAN.
3. Has to have a working DNS server.
4. Add static route, and last resort to main ethernet port that has the DNS & R62. (or 2 if on differant sub)
Hope this helps.
