Turn off your Z9
Turn the bluetooth feature ON on your 8120
Start the search for the bluetooth device
When the search starts, press and hold your ANT logo-button for about 6 seconds on your Z9.
First it will light up blue then starts flashing continuously.
Your phone should find it now with no problem!
Good Luck!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Try resetting the Z9. With the device powered on, press the vol -/+ and MFB all at the exact same time. Ensure the buttons are not held, simply clicked all at once like a mouse to a computer. Once you get a consistent rapid flash the device has been reset and will go automatically into pair mode, it should now show up when you search for it in your phones bluetooth menu.

Blackberry 8120 bluetooth

First off, did you pair with the phone? Open up your bluetooth menu (under settings) and search for the other phone. After you pair (the passkey is what you choose each time) you'll be able to receive bluetooth connections.
To receive files over bluetooth, you'll need to open up your media area, click the blackberry button, and scroll down to "Receive using bluetooth". At that point, send the file using the other phone and enjoy!

it is universal procedure to pair up all devices like this

Now press again that centre main button long press for like 10 sec until that blue light comes on and become STABLE when it is stable it means it is ready to pair up with any bluetooth phone now go to ur phone switch the bluetooth ON and select search u will find ur headset with its model like H710 just select and when asked for pairing code enter 0000 Zero four times or try 8888 if it doesnt work , now u will see that ur headset light will start blinking and u will see a headset sign on the screen of ur mobile phone it means now it is paired up

now u can try to talk thru headset make a test call any number for voulume control there are two buttons on headset on upper sie with arrows u can select them to increase headset sound

I am trying to pair my z9 with my nokia n95

  1. Delete the old Z9 pairing
  2. With the Z9 OFF, Press and Hold the MFB for about 6 seconds. The LED will appear a solid Blue, and then will start flashing. The Z9 is now in Pairing mode and ready to be found in searches by other Bluetooth devices. Pairing mode will be active for 2 minutes
  3. Enter Passkey "0000" when your phone prompts you. The phone and Z9 will now Pair

I hope that helped.

I am looking to change my IMEI number for my Blackberry 9000 Bold phone, can you help?

The problem was with the Z9 and the tip came from another FixYa user - thanks! From the power-off state you need to get Z9 into the pairing mode, in which the blue light *continuously* blinks fast. The instructions do not mention this. I forget exactly how I did it but pretty sure it was the timing of powering up the device and holding down both VOL buttons. I may try it again and send an update.
