I have connected my DVD r150 to my TV, cable and vcr as described but I do not see the set up screen on the tv. What am I missing

Just a guess... But I'll bet you need to change the channel on your TV to whichever input you plugged your DVR into. And make sure the DVR is turned on.

- That may be the problem. In the old days everything was always on channel 3 or 4. Now days - newer devices (such as a DVR) generally plug into INPUT or AUX ports - and the TV channel has to be changed to the INPUT channel the device is plugged into.It could be called INPUT1 or INPUT2 or AUX1 or AV2 or any number of names depending on the manufacturer. If you have an older TV then this might not apply to your situation.
