Question about Philips VOIP3212 IP Wireless Phone
We have Phillips voip321 twin set - After turning off the computer and turning on again I keep having to reinstall again to get the phone to pick up the contacts - otherwise says - 'contacts unavailable' on phone. Computer shows everything working fine - but phone not so. Once reinstalled works fine - how can we fix this?? Thanks
Remove the batteries from the handset for at least 1/2 minute and reinstall them bach. This should work The contacts will show up again on tehe handset.

Put both Skype & VOIP321 driver into Windows XP SP2 mode.

I have had this problem for 12mts and I finally installed the oldest version of skype and the latest Phillips driver for XP and I still got the Drivers Unavailable. Had a brain wave I removed the battery from the hand piece and put it back in and hey presto it all works again. Worked even when I updated the Skype version. Hope this helps

I had the same problem: phone not working with Skype and Contacts Unavailable
This worked for me and I hope it will work for the rest of you
1. Throw CD, you received with the phone, in the garbage can
2. Uninstall VOIP321 software and disconnect phone from the computer
3. Go to Philips website and download VOIP321 dreiver for your version of the window. Double click on desktop icon to start driver. When it asks you to connect phone to the computer, do so, and if "Another Program Wants to Use Skype" allow it, and PRESTO, after that everything worked for me.
Aparently , this was the problem: phone driver supplied on CD was compatible only with Skype version supplied on the same CD and it may work for the first time, but if you open Skype-Tools-Options-Advanced and if box is checked for "When New Skype Version is Available Automatically Downloadi it" and as soon as you go on internet, Skype would upgrade to newer version and phone would quit working. Obviously phone driver on Philips website is upgraded for newer Skype versions.
If you continue Tools-Options-Advanced-Manage other programs' access to Skype, there should be in the box : VOIP321.exe allowed to use Skype
I did not do any other setting changes
