Question about Dynasty DGRSC 30 Gas Kitchen Range
I've tried turning on the broiler and lighting it with the ligher, and the igniter doesn't do anything either. It's a natural gas version 30". Sorry to be so vague, but I don't know much about this stuff. any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a 400.00 service call to have someone come out. I would much perfer to resolve this issue myself.
There is usually some kind of heat or flame sensing safety on gas appliances. If the devices senses that the flame, starter, or pilor light has gone out, it will not allow the flow of gas. This is to prevent the appliance for just spewing gas into the room if it does not light. I'm guessing that this sensor may have gone bad.
