Re: ds touch screen
Two choices. One: If your console still has a warranty, then send it in to Nintendo for repair. Two: Search Ebay or another website for replacement touch screens, and buy one. Open up the console, amd replace the faulty touch screen with the brand new touch screen. Then put the console back together.

well, first you should see if it needs charging. Then turn on the ds and touch the little ds on the bottom of the screen. Go to the calibrate or the thing that is on the right side of the person. Try thr test and dont stop it until its over. Try touching the screen again but if that doesnt work call nintendo which the number is in the manual or find it at www.nintendo.com. See if that works.
Turn the ds on without a game in it and go to the settings icon (looks
like a tiny ds) on the bottom middle of the screen then go to the far
right yellow icon and it will re-calibrate the touch screen and let you
know if calibration was a success.
The cable for the touchscreen is one with 4 conductors that connect directly to the overlay on the face of the LCD. The flat ribbon connector on the main board is quite delicate. The three connectors for the bottom screen are on the right side of the component side of the DS phat board. The touchscreen is labeled P6. On the DS Lite, the connector is closer to the R button.
it happens if there is moist or dust or sand inside the ds so breath INWARDS through the L or R buttons but dont pull too hard but **** as much as you can until it becomes alright plus keep doing it ... it took me 10 mins to get it right
on the top right hand side of the screen just under the front there are four or five contact pads this is where the touch screen get the info from the touch screen to the ds itself if you have taken the ds apart maybe the pads are slightly out of line this can be fixed by applying light pressure to the pads to make them stick down and get a proper contact
