Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 61" Rear Projection HDTV
When I am watching my TV, the screen will turn on for 30 seconds, then off for 1 minute. When the screen is off, all the blue lights flash a few times. The sound is on the whole time.
This is what I found on mine. There are three wires powering the fan. They routed beside and under the fan. They are separated from the cooling fins by a bakelite(?) material. There is a shrink sleeve around them. I noticed the shrink sleeve was brittle so I cracked it with a pair of pliers. When I did I found the insulation was off of the wires and they were together. I cut the wire and re-routed them around the two prongs that hold them against and under the fan. The fan worked and my problem was solved.
I contacted Infocus and they acted as though I were talking Greek to a Geek. Hope this Helps.
