My HP psc 1350 all in one printer scanner copier keeps saying paper jam, how do I clear status on my computer when I have fixed all paper jams and printer says clear?

I suggest you uninstall the printer and disconnect it from the mains and from the computer. Restart your computer a couple of times and then reinstall the printer.

I have used HP printers quite a bit and find them reliable if they are left alone but if I try and interrupt their work by cancelling a print once it has begun or even by attempting to continue working on the computer while it is printing it starts acting like a crazy person and won't stop until it has been switched off for about half an hour. All my HP printers have been the same in this respect...

Hi, I have hp 1410 printer series and the status says paper jam, however there isnt anymore paper jam, because i pull the paper out already, but still it wont print again and maintains that status, how do...

With the HP printers, paper can get jammed in every tiny little place it can find. Even though you pulled the paper out already, you may have left a small piece in there not realizing it. Open up the printer and if you have a can of "air", spray it throughout the inside of the printer cartridge area. I would also remove the printer cartidge(s) to make sure a piece of paper didn't get in there either. Hope this helps!

Error paper jam and there is no paper jam

There may be some debris internal to the paper path.

Check along the paper rail up though the print point Open the catridge access door and take a look with a flash light

Printer says there is a paper jam, but there isn't

There are several paper sensors in the printer. You need to check and see if there are any torn paper caught on the sensor. The sensors are very small and very sensitive.

My hp printer wont print a document and when i go to print it says it has 45 documents waiting. there is plenty ink and paper in the printer.

go to start>>control panel>> administrative tools>> services
search for "print spool" and any other listing related to the printer. stop the process by high light the service, right click on the mouse and stop.
open up the printer form start>>printer & faxes.
deleted all the print job that are in the queue.
go back to the service section above. and restart the services.

Printer will not print

Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!

My printer wont print

Leh1987, that piece of plastic you see hanging, is what the ink slides on, right now its broken so your ink cartridges are slamming back and fourth had the same problem, have to take it in and get the plastic piece either replaced (if damaged) or put back on.
