I have converted videos from my minicam to an AVI

I have converted videos from my minicam to an AVI file. How do I transfer the videos to another existing software program on my pc for video analysis? The minicam is an everio and I am trying to transfer the coverted tape to a golf swing video analysis program that I have downloaded onto my PC. Help!

1st of all can you play the movie on your computer? If not, you are probably missing the programs and drivers necessary to do anything with the AVI file.
Videos on the computer generally run with avi or mpeg files. You have to have the drivers to play these files before you can run them.... otherwise, there should be no reason why they don't run.
