Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television
When power button is turned on green light will flash on and off 3 times over a 20 sec. period. We have to wait 1 full minute after 3rd flash and hit power button again to get the same thing: blinking on and off 3 times in 20 sec. period and not coming on. After repeating this several times TV would eventually come on. Everyday we kept repeating this procedure over & over and It was taking longer and longer to come on. Eventually it was taking an hour, and then finally it would not come on at all. A TV repairman told me he did not have to come out and charge me $70.00 to tell me it is the "power board". It was going to cost me about $550.00 to repair it. My neice's TV was doing the same thing and she said she had to put a heater on hers to warm it up before she could get it on and now hers will not come on at all. Our 52" RCA TV is only 3 1/2 years old.
Bite the bullet, because it's time for Santa tech to work on this and find the reason for the power supply problem..accordianman
