Question about Apple iPod Universal Dock

IPod universal dock not responding to remote

Just purchased an iPod universal dock remote. But the dock won't respond to the remote. Even tried pairing it, but cannot control whatever iPod or iPhone is in the dock! Is the remote a dud?

SOURCE: ipod froze

Try this which should reset your ipod: First, toggle your hold switch back and forward and put it back to the off position. Then press and hold the menu button and the center button simultaneously for about six seconds and the screen should go blank and the apple logo should appear. After that it should work.

Bose sounddock not giving any sound. Ipod working fine through earplugs. Unhooked soundock for travel, now no sound. Tried all the resets, etc. Also, new battery in remote and it doesn't respond either????

You probably have a broken docking connector or bad power supply. Contact www.invebo.com to get a replacement board. It takes minutes to fit. They also sell the USB charge upgrade to enable you dock to charge the IPHONE on the Soundock original.

No sound from my Pure-Fi Express plus into my 4th gen Nan Ipod

Hi, while your pure express plus you just purchased is not playing out any sound is because, the speaker that enable you to play the sound when you play music through the ipod is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another one for it to function properly again.

After changing the speaker that is faulty with a new speaker, you can now start enjoying the music again through the internal speaker.

Take care.

My ipod wont play in the unversal dock

What Ipod? Universal docks aren't all that universal.

If its an Iphone put it in airplane mode.

Unplug the unit, remote the Ipod, plug it back it, re-dock Ipod. If your Ipod is shorting the combus that will correct the issue.

Cheers,

Kevin

Bose Sound Dock remote control - only volume works

My remote worked perfectly until I changed the battery. The original battery was CL 2032 and I replaced it with DL 2032. After replacing the battery, only the volume control works. The off button will only fade the sound while the button is depressed. Release the button, and the volume returns to the original level and the unit remains On.
None of the other buttons work.
If you've found a solution, please post it here.

Bothe the docking station and the remote are useless I recommend you buy a universal remote control. For the Ipod switching off-it does'nt switch off reason being it has it's own battery and does not depend on the electrical power of the docking station.
