If you have accidentally saved a word into the T9 dictionary (ie, "IS" comes up with "47" or "Get" comes up with "HDU", you can teach the dictionary to revert back to the original word.
What you have to do is..... create a new text message, enter the text that is annoying, (ie, "IS"). When you type the word and it comes up with the annoying one, select the word that you wanted and enter a space, and do it again and again - you can do this in the same text message - it can take up to 20 goes but eventually, the dictionary recognises that you actually wanted "IS".
Hi, why numbers like that comes up is because the text format is on T9. You will need to change to standard format, By holding down the harsh key # till it brings up options for you to choose from. Then you can now select standard abc format.
are you talking about that you can't get it back in Predictive Text?? or you can't get it back from your friend? Anyway, you can change that option, anytime! Figure your way to the Options, then you may select whatever language you want to use!
Go into a message like you are typing a new one. On the left or right soft key, they should be "options" - select that. When in the options menu, look for "typing options", "writing options", or something related to the dictionary. It is in there that you should be able to turn the dictionary on or off, which enables or disables predictive text.
