Hi,
you can import the contacts from your web mail ID ( if the provider has that feature.)

How do i delete duplicate contacts in windows live email address book

I have assumed that:

1. Your identity is based upon an email account @hotmail.com,
or @msn.com, or @live.com - and
2. When you open WLMail, you allow it to sign into the same
hotmail, msn or live identity

If these assumptions are correct, an easy way to clean your
contact list is via the webmail interface.

Close Windows Live Mail

Use your web browser to sign into your mail account at
http://mail.live.com.

Click on Options, followed by More Options.

Scroll down to "Customize your contacts", and click on "Clean up
duplicate contacts".

Use the wizard to merge or delete duplicates.

Sign out from the webmail interface

Open Windows Live Mail and allow the program to sign into your
identity.

When you select the contacts menu, WLMail should synchronize with
the contacts list on the central server.

I just got Windows 7 and was told Outlook Express wouldn't work with that OS. So, I loaded in Eudora. Not really fond of it but then was told I could go back to Outlook Express IF I changed the...

I would suggest using Windows Live Mail, as this is what Microsoft intended when they retired Outlook Express.

You can download from: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mail?os=other

It is a more feature rich email program than Outlook Express and should provide all needed functionality.

Bootmgr is missing

Run a Chkdsk:
Take the Windows XP disk. Boot from it, then DO NOT select F2 (automated system recovery) but continue through the procedure until you get to the point where you can choose between installing Windows XP and entering the Recovery Console. Once you get into the Recovery Console, do chkdsk and fix potential errors on your disks! Chkdsk C: /R

OR:

Perform an XP repair:
When you boot with the Win XP install CD-ROM, it loads a minimal operating system, similar to DOS, but compatible with Win XP. At the first screen you select install Win XP (not Recovery Console) and at the next screen it will find that you already have Win XP and offer to attempt a repair. This repair should not touch your Applications or data; it just reinstalls the Windows files. This is great because when it works you don't need to reinstall all your software.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Missing or corrupt win/sys32/config/ sys file

The best thing to do is borrow a Win XP cd from a friend and do the following:
