1-Use the Windows utility Iexpress2.0 to create a self installing archive.
Iexpress2.0 Is already present in standard Windows installation. To use Iexpress2.0 go to folder C:/Windows/System32/ and locate the file Iexpress2.0 .
Double click on Iexpress2.0 and follow the wizard.

2- Use a comercial software like WinZip® - Self-Extractor or any similar program to create an installer file.
Same as the windows utility, but usually you need to pay for the software.

Shredder .msi will not install missing file

ø ShredIt for Windows is distributed as a zipped .msi (Microsoft Installer) file format.Double-click the .zip to de-compress it. Then double-click the .msi to install it.(this is a Microsoft Installer Package) If the installer does not launch or the installer indicates you need to upgrade, go to the appropriate Microsoft web page to download and install the current version of the Microsoft Installer for your version of Windows. For further information, refer to the ShredIt for Windows Read Me (pdf)

ø Start ShredIt for Windows.The Registration Dialog Box will be displayed on the bottom of the Main Dialog Box.Enter the Registration Key/Serial Number supplied when you paid for ShredIt.

o If you purchased online, the easiest way to do this is to copy (Ctrl C) and paste (Ctrl V) the information from the email we sent you. If you purchased a CD, the Serial Number/Registration Key is also on the CD jacket.

o If there is a problem with the registration information, the "Invalid Registration Information" dialog will appear. To correct the problem, refer to the "ShredIt for Windows FAQ".

ø Put ShredIt in a convenient place by putting a shortcut on the desktop, by the Recycle Bin.To put an alias to ShredIt X on the desktop, follow these steps:

Select the ShredIt application.
On the "C" Drive, navigate to the program file you want to make a shortcut for by doing the following:
From Start-> Click on "My Computer"
-> Click on "C" Drive
-> Click on "Program Files"
-> Click on "ShredIt" Folder
-> Click on the ShredIt Iconby single-clicking the ShredIt Icon.

(
Ensure that you select the ShredIt application, not the entire folder. (The application is called "ShredIt, ShredIt for Windows" and has a shredder icon. The folder is called "ShredItPC", has a folder icon and contains the application, the demo application and the documentation.)

From the File menu, select Create Shortcut.Drag the "Shortcut to ShredIt" to a convenient place. Most users put it on the desktop, above the Recycle Bin.

I tried moving my word application to my desktop and now when I go to open it a error comes up that says that there was a problem opening word and it tells me to reinstall the program. I put in my office...

That's actually a normal problem. You don't need to reinstall Office Mac 2008. What you need to do is to put the the Microsoft Word icon from your Desktop back to Applications Folder. To create a shortcut on your Desktop, go to Applications folder, Right Click(Ctrl+Click) on Microsoft Word then choose Make Alias. Just drag the Microsoft Word Alias to your Desktop. From Desktop you will have Word as a shorcut icon without any problem. If the issue will not be resolved then you need to uninstall then reinstall Office. Here's the steps:

] > Macintosh HD\Applications
* Remove Microsoft Office 2008
] > Macintosh HD\Users\<username>\Library\Application Support\Microsoft
* remove folder called Microsoft
] > Macintosh HD\Users\<username>\Library\Caches
* remove all Microsoft related files
] > Macintosh HD\Users\<username>\Library
* remove Microsoft Folder
] > Macintosh HD\Users\<username>\Library\Preferences
* remove all the (com.microsoft.[....].plist files)
] > Macintosh HD\Users\<username>\Library\Preferences
* remove Microsoft folder
] > Macintosh HD\Library\Receipts\Remove all Office 2008.pkg files
] > Delete Microsoft Office shortcuts from Dock
] > Restart
] > Install Office 2008
> Manual Install Updates

I hope this Helps! :)

I want to copy a software from a dell laptop latitude d630 to a portoge m700 laptop . how do i do it?

If you mean how do you copy an application that's installed on one computer to another so it can be used there, the short answer is "you can't". An application needs to be properly installed using the original installation program supplied. Most applications put files into many different folders and you'd have to copy all of them. Also they make entries into the Windows Registry so the application is correctly accessible. Unless you get this information too, the application probably won't run at all.

If you just want to copy the data from an application - Word documents or data from a tax program, for example - you just have to copy that from the folders where it's stored. Many applications use the My Documents folder. Others create their own folders and provide a backup or copy utility in the application. Check the help information for your program for details.

In Outlook 2003, I want to export my functional mailbox, all it's directories folders, folders and subfolders, e-mails included in those folders with their attachments in some cases in them and also,...

Hi Tony.

A microsoft server folder is meant to be exported to a computer with Microsoft Exchange installed. That is useful only if the The Outlook Address Book and folders are kept in an Exchange Server mailbox on original computer.

Export as PST and choose the include subfolder option even if you export to Microsoft Exchange.If the Outlook profile on the new computer has a Microsoft Exchange Server and you want to keep all of your data on the just copy the folders from the new .pst file to a location under Mailbox - Your Name in computer with MS Exchange server.

Simply choose export folder to a pst. Ensure that you have ticked that box that say include subfolders, or subfolders won't be copied.

Here the step by step:

I removed the game bar frpom the tool bar.so now i cant see it any more.how can i restore it?

Hi

You can get them back by copying them from there original links or by creating a shortcut. You can find these games under this folder C:\ --> Program Data ->Microsoft -> Windows -> Start Menu -> Programs -> now you can find the games you want under this folder, search it by name of the game.

To place it in Start menu, drag and drop these games onto start menu or alternatively create a folder games under start menu and copy paste all these games under this new folder.

Transfering mail setup from Windows xp to a windos vista machine with EasySuite

I'm not 100% sure about vista because I hate it but I can help you copy all of your outlook express data to a CD\DVD disk & your address book. Your network settings for express account is a phone call to your ISP.
If vista's explorer is set up like XP you should be able to copy your data into outlook express.
Open all these folders on you XP system.
User name\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Copy the Outlook Express folder to your CD.
User name\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book. Copy Address Book folder.
Making sure you have everything.
Open, User name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Compair the two Outlook Express folder files. CD will not allow copy of same named folder.
If Vista's lay out is the same as XP than copy Outlook Express folder to Vista.
Suggest you have your current ISP setting /account setup before copying to Vista

Let me know if this works for you!
Good Luck & Kind Regards.
