hi there i have a compaq armada m700 and i cannot boot up or get past this fault prompt, i cannot get to bios either with f 10 or f 8 or any other one
any ideas what is wrong and how i get get past this to fix it? the last thing i remember is using the add hardware to install the card port on the side for direct intranet connection.

Your cmos or usually know as bios needs to either be replaced or flashed. A good place to start would be here at this link.

Since you posted this back in December I gather you may never see this but if you do you now know what needs done.

thanks for the info. I disconnected the board that controls the landcard slot on the side and it seems to have solved the problem. I am not sure if one of my card slots is faulty or perhaps an addressing problem for the hardware
