Problem for DISH Network ViP 612

Why is my brand new 612 (just installed yesterday)

Why is my brand new 612 (just installed yesterday) saying it's too hot? First thing in the am - I turned it on and got the overheat message.
It is in a cabinet - but I have not had this problem with any other receiver (722, Direct tv tivo etc.)

It could be that the ventilation ports on these receivers have different orientations and the current one is to close to the sides of the cabinet. More than likely though it is the hard drive that is faulty and that is the safer bet of the two. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
