It's Really simple to replace that.

Replacing Fascia is quite easy, the front side may give you some trouble, be careful not to damage lcd ribbon cable if LCD comes out when you remove front part.

Sony ericson w580i dropped into water


vacuum the water out by puting tho mouth of the vacuum at the entrance to the phone charger slot and then wait a few hours to 2 days it may mork it may not u could just need a new battery

Lcd light


More than likely you will need to replace the LCD screen. The backlight may have burned out making it blank.

A new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from ebay2.gif.

The W580i LCD screen is very easy to replace. Probably one of the easiest I have ever done.

How do i get my information off my sony ericson w580i,the screen whent out


The easiest is to just replace the lcd screen on you w580i. The backlight may have burned out making it blank or it the LCD connector may have come loose.
