Problem for Acer Aspire 5610-4648 (LX.AXZ0X.097) PC Notebook
Restore to factory default
I tried to restore my systme to factory default without the disk and at the step 11/12 it stalls and says installing acer erecovery solution and I also tried to restore it with my disk but it will not go past step 11 of 12, How can i repair this isnt there a disk to help me or something

- I have an Acer Aspire 5000 and it will not load windows. It always stop with a blue screen. I do not have any recovery diskettes. Any solutions. When I press alt and f10 nothing happensthanks

- i press alt/f10 and nothing happens but f10 makes it loat to the restore partition but theres no options, what do i do now- GuestBest Solution

Perform a system recovery:
Acer computer's do not ship with recovery CD's - there is a program that allows you to burn the disks or recover.
3 ways to recover:
1. If in Windows - Start - Programs - Acer empowering technology - Acer E-recovery management -
click on Restore at bottom then "Restore to factory default settings"
2. Or click on Burn disks instead of Restore
3. If unable to boot into Windows then tap Alt/F10 during boot right after Acer splash screen when starting up the computer.
4. This will start the Acer E-recovery program - choose Factory Default Settings and follow instructions.
For Acer end user technical support, spare parts and service: 1.800.816.2237

How to erase my hard disk drive and start over.
If you are attempting to use a recovery or restore diskette to restore your computer ... Do you need an Operating System CD or Restore CD to reinstall .
