I need Aloha plastic ring in back of fan that

I need plastic ring in back of fan that holds fan caseing in place for model#46051. Serial#0001045. The fan blade is in place but the ring that holds the wire case in the back of the fan is broken and I don't know where to get another one? The fan is the Aloha Breeze Vintage Stand Fan. Date on the back of the fan is 11/04. The fan worked great till this ring broke. Can I order this part or even get a replacement part?

first check AC power cord for cutoff wire inside. if its ok, carefully remove back motor cover and find FUSIBLE RESISTOR, its covered by insulator, replace it or connect two legs together or jumper-ed with wire, covered it with insulator like wire tape for short circuit purpose, then try it.

MY BOBBIN CASE FELL OUT TWO PIECES HOW DO I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER

I assume you actually mean the metal ring that holds the small round case that the bobbin itself sits in. There are usually two arms that swing in to hold that larger metal ring in place and then there is a plastic and metal piece that sit behind the large metal ring. fit the plastic piece that may look somewhat like a scoop next to the metal piece that usually has the post the the bobbin fits onto and has a quite sharp tooth on it. The metal ring then goes on to hold those two pieces in place and the two arms swing in to hold the metal ring into place. The bobbin or bobbin case now can be put back in. Hint on metal ring placement: they almost always have a notch that goes at the very top where the arm on the bobbin case sits in when it is in place. You may find it easiest to do this with the machine laying on its back so you don't have to have 4 hands to hold everything in place while putting everything back in.
Good luck!

You are still in the warrranty period of one year and it is most adviceable not to tamper it so as to lose the priviledge.
So please get in touch immediatley with your dealer.
Only If there is no help do you need to open the base and check the leads from plug to the motor for continuity. if voltage is present then motor may be faulty.

It isn't worth fixing. I am on my second one which didn't last any longer than the first which was about 3-4 months. These fan motors are junk. First failure was a bearing and when it started failing, it was noisy. Eventually, the fan would not start because the motor didn't have enough torque to overcome the friction in the bad bearing.

The second fan was quiet but has NO starting torque....no unusual for fans generally, but I'll NEVER BUY another ALOHA BREEZE product again.
