Question about Pioneer TS-W3004SPL Car Subwoofer
I have a Mazda 626 fitted with a Philips radio CE-3434TY1. It has logic control switching which I believe is faulty as it turns itself off at irregular intervals from a few seconds to an hour or so. I have searched for a dry solder joint and resoldered over 100 without effect. I now suspect it is the logic control switch losing its latch. Can a replacement board be obtained from anywhere?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

My set is doing the same thing again. The last time I fixed this (4 years ago) it was a capacitor gone bad in the power supply for the 24v standby circuit. (C166)
The service manuals can be ordered directly from Pioneer Part Number ARP3014 for Pro-100 model.

Unless changed cby the owner it should be the last 4 digits of the VIN number which can be read from the label on the driver's door panel. If it has been changed, I'm afraid there is no way to retrieve it unless you can contact the previous owner.

I dont have the intial fault condition mentioned but I think what is required is to check the SMPS- which is the switch mode power suppy. Now this can be checked ONLY if you are able to handle a mutlimeter to check the voltages on the board.
Also when I mentioned DRY solder it is solder that dries and loses contact after the joint has heated several times.
