Question about Pioneer TS-W3004SPL Car Subwoofer

Open Question

Mazda 626 Philips logic control radio turns itself off.

I have a Mazda 626 fitted with a Philips radio CE-3434TY1. It has logic control switching which I believe is faulty as it turns itself off at irregular intervals from a few seconds to an hour or so. I have searched for a dry solder joint and resoldered over 100 without effect. I now suspect it is the logic control switch losing its latch. Can a replacement board be obtained from anywhere?

SOURCE: Pioneer elite pro 100

My set is doing the same thing again. The last time I fixed this (4 years ago) it was a capacitor gone bad in the power supply for the 24v standby circuit. (C166)
The service manuals can be ordered directly from Pioneer Part Number ARP3014 for Pro-100 model.

SOURCE: Purchased my son a second

Unless changed cby the owner it should be the last 4 digits of the VIN number which can be read from the label on the driver's door panel. If it has been changed, I'm afraid there is no way to retrieve it unless you can contact the previous owner.

SOURCE: thank you ur answer but still not clear my mind

I dont have the intial fault condition mentioned but I think what is required is to check the SMPS- which is the switch mode power suppy. Now this can be checked ONLY if you are able to handle a mutlimeter to check the voltages on the board.
Also when I mentioned DRY solder it is solder that dries and loses contact after the joint has heated several times.

Check the 20A STOP FUSE and 10A METER FUSE in the joint box but also there may be no speed sensor input that signals the cruise control to engage.

Mazda 2200 if the dash lights dont light at all when u turn the key to acc. does that mean a bad switch if all otther lights work and the battery is fine

Not sure I follow you.
Do the warning lights come on when the key switch is in the on position ? ?
And are you saying the engine will not crank ?
On most cars the only thing that is powered in accessory is the radio.

Where is the backup switch located on a 1998 mazda 626

It is part of the range control switch on the oustside of the transmission case where the transmission cable hooks up, it fits over the post that sticks out of the ******.. See picture below, part is about $100.00

91 mazda 626 erractic idle surge when engine is cold

My '91 626 did the same thing. I tested the throttle position sensor, and it was good so that wasn't it. The other likely culprit is the Idle Speed Control valve, or Idle Air Control valve, which is a $500 part new (more than I paid for the whole car). I pulled one off a 626 at the salvage yard and got it for 3 bucks, put it on (it's an easy DIY, just 4 philips screws holding it to the intake manifold), however I can't be sure that solved the problem, since I haven't run the car much since then. It would seem the most likely cause, tho, and a cheap fix if you go used. Other possibilities: O2 sensor or Mass Air Flow sensor?
