My Sharpe Al-1553 keeps flashing L and won't work

Try unplugging it for 20 minutes. If that doesn't work, go online type "sharp al1553 user manual" and it will show sites to get manual. Use the trouble shooting section.

this unit is the main charge unit it holds a corona wire and is the length of the drum unit you can re wire it with a spool of corona wire how eber i would check from trhe people you are buying the unit from if there are any modifications for the unit i have not seen any break the wire breaks thats all

Hello my friend.
It is a fuser temperature error or one of the sensors is dirty.
You could try removing the fuser assembly - ensure power is switched off- then try cleaning the sensors as they tend to get paper dust and melted toner which collects between the surface which senses the heat from the fuser `Hot` roller.
if this doesn't fix it you may need to replace the fuser.
There is also an engineer code that you can enter to clear the fault
PRESS: Clear - exposure - clear - exposure = the LED display will turn off.
PRESS: # of copy keys until you have 14 displayed.
PRESS: Enter.

install it by add printer wizard

This is a scanner problem - didn't leave or come back to home, scan overload or cable off or drive problem. Try to unlock the scanner from it position ( Remove platen glass and move the scanner unit from it position)
