If the thermostat is set for auto fan mode you have a bad fan relay.

My honeywell Thermostat reaches the heating temp. but the fan will not stop running. And yes the fan is set to auto.It just keeps running and running and running. It stays the same temp but will not shut off...

I want to give a simple explanation before I go any further. On the heating side of a unit even though tthe temp has satisfied the thermostat, the fan will run until it cools down the plenum where the air flows from the air handler. There is a bimetal switch called a fan limit that operates the blower when the plenum reaches the temp set on the fan limit switch. Now if your fan keeps running even after the plenum chamber has cooled down, then you could have a fan limit switch that is stuck in the run position and must be replaced in order to correct the problem.

Goodman Condensor cplj48-1 Air handler Modle

It sounds undercharged (needs more refrigerant). Based on the conditions in your post and assuming the indoor humidity is within 20-70% range, your target superheat should be 10degF. Your superheat (assuming you have an R22 system) is far too high. The pressures are not indicating a restriction; therefore, I have to conclude you have a low charge. A low charge will cause a gurgling sound due to the refrigerant in the liquid line is vaporizing prior to reaching the Cap tube at the Air Handler.

I hope you find this information helpful to you moving forward. :-)

Temp in my home will not drop below 81 degrees

Air Handlers differ in the way they adjust there variable speeds. Carrier you just plug into a pin. Trane has dip switches with directions on the fan housing. Before you try to adjust please kill power to air handler. Varriable speed are very sensative to voltage. If I new your air handler brand I could help. But just check the wiring diagram and they may ahve dirrections on there for setting speed. Need more help call back Rus

Air handler only blows air for 3-5 minutes before shut off & not cycling frequently

Sounds like it could be a very weak run capacitor on the blower motor. Run capacitors are sized specifically to the needs of the motor. When a run cap gets weak, the motor trys to compensate for it by drawing more power. More power draw = more heat in the motor, then the motor will overheat and shut off to protect itself. When the motor cools off it will automatically restart and run until it overheats again. Keep in mind that I am a technician that normally diagnoses equipment in a hands on manner. There are many practices and concepts that transcend all air conditioning systems but it is a constantly evolving industry. I live in south eastern WA and I don't see Amana units except as window units. It is possible to have something else causing this problem (faulty thermostat, failing thermal relay(if used), problem with electronic controls(if used)) there are a lot of potential variables
