It depends on how often you use it and if you have a good cover with thermal value. If you use the spa more than once a week, then it's probably more cost effective to leave it at temperature. If its more like once or twice a month, then probably better to lower the temp. My spa uses about $30 per month of power leaving it at 104 degrees.

A New Hot tub cover will lower your Hot Tub Costs

A New hot tub cover will help you run your hot tub at a more efficient level. Lower your energy costs as the new hot tub cover will insulate better. The question is when do you need a new hot tub cover.

The best ways to know if you need a new spa cover or hot tub cover are the following:

  1. The hot tub cover weighs over 100 pounds.
  2. You need more then one person to remove the hot tub cover.
  3. The hot tub cover is ripped and torn past repair.
  4. Faded cracked and just aesthetically ugly.
  5. The seam in the middle is ripped past repair.
Can you fix your hot tub cover? Some things you can fix like rips and tears. You can take the cover to a local seamstress to repair. You can not fix a saturated hot tub cover, it needs to be replaced at that point. New Hot Tub Cover for the Fall and Winter

How do I reheat mushroom ravioli?

There is only one way to reheat any food and that is thoroughly!

Some foods are improved by standing and reheating and some foods become a little overcooked.
The traditional oven reheating does rather tend to dry the food unless it is something like a casserole or it is firmly covered and oven reheating can take quite a time.

Reheating with steam prevents food drying and there is something to be said for the old-fashioned covered plate over a pan of water boiling on the hob.
Reheating in the super-heated steam of a pressure cooker is suitable for some foods.

The most convenient method for most modern people is to cover the food with all-purpose cling film and give it a couple of minutes on full power in the microwave, allow it to stand for a couple of minutes and then give it a couple of more minutes, removing the cling film for the last minute or half minute by which time the food should be piping hot and making simmering noises and most importantly the plate should be completely hot underneath with no cold spots. If it isn't completely hot more minutes are needed.

Reheated food sometimes needs a dash of something to make it more desirable to the discerning palate. Worcester Sauce perhaps...

How do you winterize a hot tub? QCA Jewel Model SUV M7

this is taken right from a jewel series QCA hot tub manual.....Winterizing
In very cold weather you may not want to venture outside to use your spa. In this case, you may move it to a heated area, or leave it as is until the weather warms. If you do leave the spa unused for a long period of time in severely cold weather, you should winterize the spa to avoid accidental freezing due to a power or equipment failure.. Follow these easy steps: Turn power to the spa OFF. Drain the spa. Use a wet vac to **** or blow out the air injectors, water jets and water suction fittings. Add 1-3 gallons of RV antifreeze, depending on the size of the spa, to all the air injectors, water jets, suction drains, and filter. Caution: Any lines not receiving adequate antifreeze are subject to freeze damage!

I have a 40 gal Whirlpool single element 3500 mobile home hot water heater. I have replaced the element thermostat high pressure valve (because it was leaking) & flushed for sediment. In morning I wash...

A 40 gal. electric water heater will give you aprox. 32 gal. of hot water in one setting, since they do not reheat as quickly as gas. So if you are using a newer 1.5 or 2.0 gpm shower head. You could take a 16 minute shower with straight hot water. If you are running 2 new shower heads at once you could get 8 minutes. If you using the tub spout the times decrease. Some of my customers like to turn up the temerature on the thermostat a little so they can mix more cold and get it to last a little longer. Be very careful doing this.
If your water heater has a lot of calcium built up in it the times will decrease.
With out seeing the heater, you mention it is a mobile home heater so I am guessing that it is bottom fed.
I hope this has helped.
