Hi Grace, changibf the cartridges is detailed in the user manual, to be honest I cant describe it any better myself, you can down load a copy from the Guides and manuals on the Cannon Web page, details are in chapter 9

Hi Grace,

The flashing code signifies that there is a fault with the connection between the ink cartridge and the printer - usually because either the tape is still on the cartridge or maybe some glue from the tape still on the contacts. In my case, I think the cartridge was simply knackered, so I threw it away and opened yet another ink cartridge. It now works fine.

If you want to test yours, simply take out both ink cartridges, and re-insert them one at a time. If you've put a working cartridge in the flashing will stop; if you've put the dodgy one in it'll still flash. Just replace the dodgy one.

Regards,
Sean

Hi Ali

Probably the printer no recognize the toner cartridge. Check the chip on toner cartridge (if have if there is an orange plastic, remove it. If not replace the toner cartridge for a new one."CB436A")

Good Luck

I don't have a date to my senior prom and im a guy. I am friends with this guy I met in florida who lives in New Jersey like I do and I wanted to ask him but were kinda far and I don't know how to ask...

Pick up the phone, call him and ask. All he can say is no, and be prepared to gracefully accept a no.... because he may be caught off guard, and give a canned response, and may reconsider, but NOT if you are rude....

Hi, im facing a problem with my Canon MP145 printer now. It keeps on showing the message"E14" and it cannot print. When i click on priont it says"The ink cartridge is not recognised" Please help me.

Hi, try removing the ink cartridges, cleaning their contacts and then replacing them. If this doesn't fix the problem, try replacing the carteidges with canon originals. This should do the trick!

CHANGE THE TONER!
TROUBLE BOILS DOWN TO SAME THING BUT!
IF IT IS AN HP OR A REBUILT NON-HP CARTRIDGE THE E-PROM ON THE CARTRIDGE IS BAD OR DROPPED OFF AND THE PRINTER CAN NOT READ IT.
WHAT YOU COULD DO IS TRY TO TAKE THE E-PROM FROM YOU OLD TONER (IF YOU STILL HAVE IT AROUND AND GLUE IT IN PLACE OF YOUR NEW CARTRIDGES E-PROM

Hi grace goto to start, control panel, printer and faxes, and look for your printer. click on printer preference and thats where you can change the size of paper, and anything else you would like to change. hope it works for you.
