HI,
Locate the ink tank on the cartridge. Put a 3mm drill bit in a drill. Drill a hole in the top of the ink tank on the cartridge.

thank you,

How do I fix e07

I assume you have a Canon copier based on the E007 error code. The Fuser fixing film is torn and the Fixing film assembly or the entire fuser should be replaced. Very common issue.......You cannot reset that code without first replacing the part causing the code.

I keep getting an E 14 error. What does this mean? How is it fixed?

E14 is known as a "wrong ink cartridge" error.

Probably you placed a wrong type cartridge for this printer model.

Check the placed cartridges:
Canon PG-510 is black 9ml, Canon PG-512 is black 15ml.
Canon PG-511 is color 9ml, Canon PG-513 is color 15ml.

I bought a new Cannon PIXMA MX320 with no ink cartridge, the manual says that it requires PG-210 & CL-211, while the cannon site says it works with the PG-510 and CL-511. so my question is do they both...

Hi,

Cannon cartidge numbers are quite confusing to say the least, but your printer requires PG-510 and CL-511, PG is black and CL colour.

The 210/211 is a non european number, but they are the same as CL-511 and PG-510.

Hope this helps.

Can i use pg-40 ink for my canon mp480

Sorry you can't use PG-40 on MP480. Canon MP480 printer takes only Canon PG-510 Black Ink Cartridge, Canon CL-511 Colour Ink Cartridge or Canon CL513 Colour Ink Cartridge (this one is high yield colour cartridge).

I have an Canon mp240 printer with a black cartridge plus a colour cartridge. The colour is id 511 bw is 510. I can not source replacements

I request you to please again check the Printers Cartridge details in the Printers user guide. The numbers quoted appears to be different. Please go to Canon web site and then support section to find the nearest local canon dealer where you can get the cartridges OR you can order on line from their on line store.

Ink cartage

This printer will take either the PG-30 or PG-40 (larger size) cartridges for black ink, and either the CL-31 or CL-41 (larger size) cartridges for color ink.
