Display blank, no keypad tones, Emerson EMG900...

Phone has dial tone and will receive calls. Display is blank, although backlight is on. Generates no tones in response to keypad inputs.

Apprenticeyou must use a ac adapter which the phone doesnt come with or 3 double A batteries
