Re: firmware for mp3???

Because you formatted your mp3 thru the computer, if your mp3 has an option in its sytem you may format it here. and you should download the songs thru the sonique stage, you can not transfer directly coming from your win amp or windows media player because of different file format

Re: firmware for mp3???

All you must do is to instal SonicStage CP ver.4.3 or above and transfer mp3 from your personal computer to Sony digital music player (mp3) :-)

I dont know how to put songs in my song nwe005

How do I Put Music on an NW-E003F Sony MP3 Player?

The Sony Walkman E003F is a small portable device resembling a flash drive. This Walkman has 1 GB of storage which accommodates about 685 songs. When the battery is at capacity, the Walkman can play back up to 28 hours of audio. The small player has a built-in USB connector to make downloading convenient. If you want to add songs to your MP3 player, you must use Windows Explorer to download MP3-, AAC- and WMA-formatted audio to the device.

Remove the USB cap on the player to reveal the USB plug.

Insert the USB plug on the player into the computer's USB port.

Select "My Computer" from the desktop "Start" menu.

Double-click on the "WALKMAN" drive folder to open it.

Double-click to open the "MUSIC" folder.

Drag the audio file from the save location on the computer and drop it in the "MUSIC" folder. The songs will load and play in the order that they are dropped into the folder.

Hope it helped.

I want to connect my mp3 player to my car radio.

The car radio USB port does not read NW-HD3 music database. Put music files directly in their native format. I have done it succesfully

You deleted the "guts" of the player - go to sony website to see if you can reload the firmware - otherwise, it's a dead player

Many times, MP3 players will play music from an "Audio" folder. Try naming the folder "Audio".
