Hi,

Do a Restore, go to the Restore Point and restore your computer to a date that you feel it worked well. After Restoring your computer you can now try it once more. This should fix the problem.

I dont think this is related to a CDROM issue.

check in your registry for RUN entries.

to do this, Start> Run.
type regedit and press enter.

now expand the tree on the left and navigate through to this location:

My Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

look through here, and if that MSPaint is listed here, remove it.

next, check your start up folder ,
Start > Run
and type %userprofile% and press enter.

then go to Start Menu\Programs\Startup
and see if MSPaint is in there. or a reference to the image that was not found.

and finally, check in the Startup services found under MSCONFIG. you can load that by going (once again ) to Start > Run
and type MSCONFIG and press enter.

goto the Startup tab and scroll through that list for the offending program

untick it, save the changes and reboot to see if this has corrected the problem.

How do i fix an invalid path or filename error when saving

I answered this once, but it didn't seem to post. Invalid Path or Filename error is generated when a logo (.bmp) file is specified in the header or footer, but is not found in the default folder "Clipart," usually found under SureTrak in Program Files or Program Files(x86). Either set the logo in the footer to None, or copy and paste the missing .bmp file to the Clipart folder, then in the Footer (Page Setup, third tab) re-browse the logo setting to the correct location.

That probably is just a "Back-Ground-#1' bitmap image-file.
Does your camera work without this file?
Can you create a "bitmap" file (using the PAINT program in the ACCESSORIES folder) and call it 'BG1.bmp', and store in into that 'corona' folder?

I have photos that show in the folders on my computer, but when I open a photo in Lightroom or Photoshop CS4 they do not show. Anyone had that problem?

Try opening them using a different program. If you right click on the picture there will be an option "Open With" choose something like "Windows Picture Viewer" or even "Paint" should work. What are the file extensions...(ie .bmp, jpeg..etc)?

Internet photos download as bitmaps instead of jpg's

First open Microsoft Paint by going to Start, All Programs, Accessories and then Paint
Now open the BMP file in Paint. Now all you have to do to save the file in JPG format is to simple do a Save As. Change the File Type drop down menu to JPG and click Save

Corona\start_bg.bmp

If you hold down SHIFT and right click on a BMP file, then select "open with" and choose the MS Paint option. This should let you open the BMP file and also provide an option to use as the default viewer.

if you do not know where the file is... goto start, search, for file and search for coronastart_bg.bmp

Toshiba\corona\start.bg.bmp Not Found.

That is an image file, it may have been moved or deleted, looks like from the file path it's a background image. If you want a quick solution you could just re-install the software. If you're feeling techy go into MS paint (start, programs, accessories, paint) open a new image paint the background black and save it as a .bmp called start.bg then place the file in the Toshiba\corona voila you've replaced the file...

I,M NOT SURE HOW I CAN GET MY PHOTOS TO LOAD IN JPG FORMAT FROM BMP

Super simple. Open the picture with Microsoft Paint. (Start -> Program -> Accessories -> Paint). Once you've got the image open, go to the top and click file -> save as. In the drop down box labeled Save as type: Choose JPEG (*.jpg, *.jpeg.... ). Then name is something useful, and save it somewhere memorable.

Thats it! Of course, there is more specialized software like photoshop, or paint shop that can do this and much much more, but the is the easiest and cheepest way.
