We need PPTP, L2TP Solution for VoIP

Hello,

We are doing VOIP retail business in UAE and Oman (VOIP ports are blocked in these regions), We are using VOIPSWITCH (www.voipswitch.com) as our softswitch and also using it's server/client bas tunneling technology to bypass port blocking issues.

Biggest limitation with this solution is customer must have a PC on which tunnel client has to be running all the time to let customer use his ATA/IP Phone. We need this process to be Plug and Play.

Project requirement is similar to http://www.speed-voip.com/. Based upon L2TP or similar technologies we need some kind of solution that will work with our existing Softswitch i-e; VOIPSWITCH, to make any kind of ATA / IP Phone device truly Plug &Play.

Our main requirement of the project is to bypass port blocking issues, and making ATA / IP Phone devices to work in Plug & Play Mode.

Please do not hesitate to ask any question that you might have..

Regards,

You can establish small tunnel with low cost firewall from linksys and do the VoIP with ADSL, lease line etc. You can use Linksys SPA 9000 IP PBX and SPA9XX phones. I have done a project and still expanding - UAE - OMAN

I want to open badoo.com dating site, but it is blocked by our office IT

Hello!!

If it is blocked, then you can use any of the proxy site to open the blocked site.
for e.g. find any proxy site which isn't blocked and open the blocked site i.e. badoo.com from that proxy site.

some proxy sites are mentioned here for reference : http://proxysites.in/

– CashU provides merchants with a solution where they can sell their goods and services on the internet, including virtual products (such as cheap VoIP calling credit) or telephone services (DID local access numbers) that require micro payments. Merchants pay no setup or installation fees and integrating cashU is quick and simple.

This move is intended to strongly compete with other residential VoIP providers such as Skype, Vonage, Ooma, Betamax, Gizmo and Google Voice by giving users in Middle Eastern countries the capability to enjoy the benefits of Tpad VoIP where credit card penetration is extremely low. This is especially true for users in Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, and the UAE.

Hello,I have connected a linksys voip

Hello dandashi77,

I am using a Panasonic DECT 6.0 Series cordless phone. However, the VIATalk.com VOIP Services uses a LinkSys PAP2 adapter which can work with any type of phone. A Broadband connection is required to use the VIATalk.com VOIP service. Setup is very simple and the instructions areeasy to follow. Just a few simple things to do.

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,

How would fax run on VOIP? what requirment it needs?

typically faxing doesn't work on VOIP. i tried many times and sometimes it would go through although it said it didn't. other times it didn't work at all. VOIP has a limited bandwidth and the fax needs to send more info over the line than VOIP makes room for.

to have the best luck, stop all downloads and other network traffic while attempting to fax, so that there are no other programs or devices using the internet. the fax will have its best chance of working that way, although it probably still won't

here are some very good tips as well:

Connect my phone adapter

You need to register/subscribe to a VOIP provider first like Vonage and the likes. Then you need to register through your VOIP provider the phone ports of your router. ISP is different from VOIP.

Tmobile voip

the thing with voip is it eats up bandwith, especially if alot of users are using voip at the same time, that tends to slow their server they result in blocking the ports for that.

I have a ZyXEL P-660HW-TI ADSL wireless router used as the gateway and wireless AP (also the wired ports are used for LAN). It has no VoIP ports. I do have a 2nd ADSL router (not used: no wireless, 1 LAN...

No because the VOIP need to be loged in first. if you have the voip first then the wireless router and you turned off the router dchp section part of the wireless modem then perhaps it will work, plus you need a voip account.
