Question about ASUS P4B266 Motherboard
If the light is blinking when you plug the ethernet cable, it should be ok. If it blinks, unplug the modem, wait 15 secs. then plug it back in so the modem can get the computer's ip adderss. Now, if it does not blink, try another cat5 cable first, and if that does not work you may need to replace your ethernet card.
