Problem for GE 32GT740 32" TV

32 in ge tv doesn't turn on

i have a 32inch GE TV and it doesn't turn on. when you press power either on the remote or the actual tv set, it makes the noise to indicate that it's turning on but no screen comes light. also, it repeats this process 3 times every single time you press the power button. is there a way to fix this or should i consider getting a new tv. thanks

It ur high voltage is dead.Ur FBT,the flyback transformer is dead.The big block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to ur CRT(tv tube).That must be replace.
