There are only two ways to fix this issue.
1. Take it to a mobile phone shop, and inform them that you need the master lock code changed for user based access.
2. Perform a hard reset on the phone that will restore it back to factory settings, and delete everything you've got on there.
IF the phone's keypad works, then try typing this in
#pwd# sendThat may help you too, as for performing the master reset yourself, that's the only way, anything else will result in you having to take it to a technician
Phone lock code simply means that someone who had prior access to the phone put a code on it to where when it gets turned on it will not give anyone access to the phone unless they know what password it is. The password could be ANYTHING. Your best solution would be to call your phone company and ask them to help you because there is no way to reset the password if the phone is locked unless you call the company
first, take out the battery and press the RED end call key for 15 seconds, then put the battery back in and turn on the phone.
if that doesn't work then try this from the website.
How do I lock/unlock the phone's keypad?
To lock and unlock your phone's keypad, press and hold the left navigation key.
Or, select Menu -> Settings -> Keyguard. Then highlight either of the options and press the OK
button. You can set your phone to lock the keypad immediately, or
automatically if no key is pressed after 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5
If your son locked the device, unless your son can remember the code, you are out of luck to get your info off it. Your phone will work if it gets flashed at your local service center or the provider. They should do it under warranty. If you run into any problems, or there is no service center in your area, just check my profile and im sure we can help you.
