How do i disable auto text correct?

Hi Smith ric207,

To disable the dictionary in your text panel, while in create message mode, select 'options', then 'dictionary', then 'dictionary off'. That should turn off your dictionary mode.
Alternatively, while in the text mode, at the top left corner of the screen, you would see 'Abc' or 'abc' or 'ABC', with an underline mark.
Toggle your hash key (#) till you see an 'Abc', 'ABC', or 'abc' without the underline. Then your dictionary mode would be off.

Hope that fixed your problem?
Have a nice day.

How do I text with capital letters. I have an LG CU-515

When you are on the message screen, there is a little orange block on the upper right corner that (at least on mine) shows "Abc".

If you press the # button, it will cycle thru "ABC", then "123", then "abc".

If you leave it on "ABC". then you have all caps.

How do i get normal text NOT predictive for my bl-5c I seem to have tied every option. It's probably something very simple, but apart from the longwinded textbox I have found a solution Andrew

You can turn off Predective text by pressing # key when in messaging , look at the upper right corner the Alphabet icon will change from two lines before pencil ABC to pencil symbol and ABC . Your T9 will get off this way .

Trying to get predictive text of messaging

When texting, press AND hold the * button. The display a the top right of the screen should change from T9Ab to Abc. Press (but don't hold) the * button again, the display will change to ABC. Press (but don't hold) the * button again, the display will change to abc. Press (but don't hold) the * button again, the display will change to 123.

The skill is pressing the * button and sometimes holding for a second longer. It requires PRACTICE. Try it for yourself.
