Hello there. I have got a Virety from Ebay which was supposed to be new (just used to check working). I have tried to use the bluetooth and when asked to enter the 4 digit code, I tried the usual 0000. It didn;t accept it. Any idea what the default setting would be or how to unlock whatever exisiting code has been used?

By pairing your KU990 and another device, you can set up a passcode protected connection. This means your pairing is more secure. 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. You can change your visibility in the Settings menu. 2 Touch Paired Devices then New. 3 Your KU990 will search for devices. When the search is completed Refresh and Add will appear on screen. 4 Choose the device you want to pair with and enter the passcode then touch OK. 5 Your phone will then connect to the other device, on which you should enter the same passcode. 6 You passcode protected Bluetooth connection is now ready.
Using a Bluetooth headset 1 Check your Bluetooth is On and Visible. 2 Follow the instructions that came with your headset to place your headset in pairing mode and pair your devices. 3 Touch Yes to Connect now. Your KU990 will automatically switch to Headset profile.
If you have any questions you can try reading the manual here http://www.in.lge.com/Product/Manual/KU990.pdf
If you haven't actually manually changed it, the password is always the
last four digits of your phone number (ex. 1-555-868-2212 your password
is 2212). If you manually changed it, you need to call Verizon and have
that worked out.
LG has not yet developed the drivers for mac. And you won't find them on the CD, so don't get crazy to put the minicd con the mac... it won't be useful. Just monitor the lgmobile.com mobile for the drivers to be published. LG has promised them for the first half of 2008. Until then, you can only use USB or Bluetooth to exchange data.
