Well before you can put tracks from a cd unto this mp3 player, you need to have certain programs.
You can have a program like windows media player and when you insert the cd into you cd rom, all you have to do is to rip or copy out the songs from the cd to your computer hard disk.
Make sure you do not copy them from my computer as they would be affected files.
After copying, you can now locate the songs under your music files and copy to your walkman.

How do you download music to an mp3 player from a cd?

Normal audio CD tracks should be converted to mp3 files onto the computer's hard drive, first.
This is called ripping or RIP function.
There are several programs that can RIP audio CD.
It is important to convert music into the correct bitrate for the player to match for playback. (192 kbps is good quality and often used)
You can use Windows Media Player 10 or 11 for conversion.

When you use WMP 10 or 11 and the player is detected in the program:
1. Tell the player were your music library is: setup your music library.
2. Create a playlist; make playlist name and add mp3 files to the list.
3. Synchronize the playlist with mp3 files to the player.

If the player cannot be detected in WMP 10 or 11, but only can be viewed as a removable disk in "My Computer" : use the "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" method to put mp3 files from the computer onto the player.

Hoe do I download music from a cd onto my mp3?

You don't give much information so I am going to assume you are using Windows XP. You can use Media Player within Windows to convert a CD to MP3 files. Just put the audio CD in your drive then Load Windows Media Player if it does not load automatically. This is found from the start button, Program files, Accessories, Entertainment, then Windows Media Player, You can then select the copy from CD option on the left side of the screen.

I copied cd audio files onto mp3 player and need to change to a audio type that is supoerted

First of all you have to RIP your files from Audio Disc. To do that you can use Windows Media Player. Start Windows Media Player, in top of the screen you should have a button " RIP ", click it. Click Start and then you cand find the files by default in My Music folder from My Documents. Then copy the Ripped Files to the MP3 player. This work only if your mp3 player supports wma files if not try to download Audio Grabber ( ) to RIP files from Audio cd in mp3 format. After you ripped the files copy them to mp3 player.

Voice Recorder-Files to CD?

Please follow the below solutions to create either an audio CD-ROM of .wav files or back-up
.wav files to a CD-ROM.
Problem: .Wav files downloaded to PC computer from the DW-90, VN Series, and DSS Files
created with DS Series recorders cannot be copied to a rewritable CD-ROM using Windows
Media Player to create an audio CD-ROM.
Explanation: These digital voice recorders create .wav files at 8kHZ, 12kHZ, or 22kHz
depending on the Quality setting. Digital Wave player software is used to download Wav files to
a PC computer from the DW or VN Series of recorders. DSS Player is used to download DSS
files from the DS Series recorders and convert them to Wav files. If Windows Media Player is
then used to copy the files to a rewritable CD-ROM to create an audio CD-ROM, the files will
not copy properly or an error message may appear. Windows Media Player can only create an
audio CD-ROM if the .wav file is 44.1kHZ, 16 bit stereo.
Solution: Follow the procedure below to convert the .wav files to 44.1 kHZ, 16 bit stereo. Then
use Windows Media Player to copy the files to a rewritable CD-ROM.
1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click Entertainment, and then click Sound Recorder.
2. On the File menu, click Open.
3. In the Open dialog box, specify the name of the audio file that you want to convert, and
then click OK. Files are usually located at C:\Program Files\Olympus\Digital Wave
Player\Message\Folder A.
4. On the File menu, click Save As.
In the Save As dialog box, click Change.
In the Attributes box, click 44.100 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo, and then click OK.
Click Save. After you convert your files, try to copy them to a CD-ROM again.
