Dull muddy colors with extra color on bac...

Copies printed from scanned photos are dull, muddy and not true to original colors. White backgrounds appear beige. Regular prints are fine with good color. We just have a problem when scanner is used. We have had wonderful success with scanner in the past. This is a sudden and recent problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. KKC
