You may have a bad compressor.also need to check the evaporator fan and see if it is turning. do you have any kind of frost build up on the back wall that you can see.the fan is located behind the rear panel in the back of the freezer if you your it running you may have a bad compressor

Normally it is recommended to set your Frigidaire upright freezer to zero degrees. It is your option to make it cooler if you choose too. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt
